Our Dead Poplar Estate Vineyard is planted on ancient Yakima River soils composed of a mixture of sandy soils that scream aromatics. Organic farming and natural garrigue is allowed to blossom in the vineyard creating beautiful smells through the end of harvest season. The north slopes elongate the hang time as days get shorter come fall, this allowing for slow ripening and sugar accumulation. Be patient and the wine will open up over the course of a few hours and show you a beautiful, elegant side of Grenache that we adore.
