2018 The Setting Sauvignon Blanc | Napa Valley California WHITE

Barrel Fermented. Mouthwatering and luscious, with intoxicating aromatics of melon, nectarines, white peaches and honeysuckle. The unique mix of oak barrels and native yeast add to the richness and complexity of this wine at the same time lifting the purity of the fruit and brightness of the wine. Tangerine, creme brulee and hints of ripe kiwi come together with a long bright finish. | The Setting

2018 J. Bucher Vineyards Pinot Noir | Russian River Valley, Sonoma California RED

Fragrant aromatics fill the glass with dark tones of red fruit, violets and subtle earth notes. The palate, bathed with vibrant acidity, reveals black raspberry, blackberry, plum, and hints of vanilla woven with traces of fine-grained oak. This blend of five Pinot clones from five of our vineyard blocks delivers layers of complexity, supple tannins, and a long, lingering finish - a classic Russian River Valley Pinot Noir. 490 cases produced. | J. Bucher Vineyards

Hourglass HGIII | Napa Valley California RED

HG III is Tony Biagi's riff on the Napa Valley red blend. Created with select lots from our Blueline Estate and carefully sourced vineyards in Napa Valley, HG III embodies the deft balance of richness and vibrancy that is at the heart of what we do at Hourglass. Merlot offers sleek, approachable texture and bright red fruit components. Petite Sirah provides the anchoring bass notes of dark blue and black fruit, and Cabernet Sauvignon weaves these together with structural framing and elegant refinement.
Rich, textural layers define HG III. The 2018 greets with lifted aromatics of bright Bing cherry, dark plum, and cedar box, with subtle hints of Herbes de Provence, cocoa powder and hoisin. A medley of saturated black cherry, crushed blueberry, and cola root burst forth on the palate, providing broad-shouldered, sumptuous texture. Rich and concentrated, yet balanced by lively acidity, a refined structure and well-integrated tannins, HG III delivers and eminently drinkable wine at cork-pull. |
