Always a standard bearer, the latest Pinot Gris from Elk Cove is excellent. Fresh-grated lemon zest and orange blossom aromas are accented by a wee bit of wet slate. The wine, which was whole-cluster pressed and cold fermented in small stainless steel tanks, possesses flavors ranging from grapefruit lightly sprinkled in sugar to a green apple gummy bear. | 92 points, Wine Enthusiast Editor's Choice
...Seamlessly seductive aromatics of rose petal, Darjeeling tea, sandalwood, red fruit, and an inviting earthiness fill the nose. The silken entry reveals plush cherry and youthful raspberry with traces of cranberry and red licorice. Notes of caramel, vanilla, cola, cigar box and baking spices join in, adding complexity while enhancing the wine's appeal...618 cases produced. | Bucher Vineyards
Our Dead Poplar Estate Vineyard is planted on ancient Yakima River soils composed of a mixture of sandy soils that scream aromatics. Organic farming and natural garrigue is allowed to blossom in the vineyard creating beautiful smells through the end of harvest season. The north slopes elongate the hang time as days get shorter come fall, this allowing for slow ripening and sugar accumulation. Be patient and the wine will open up over the course of a few hours and show you a beautiful, elegant side of Grenache that we adore. We recommend 3-4 hours in the decanter and a temperature of 65 degrees in the glass. 600 cases produced. | Upsidedown Wines
