The Signature Tasting Trio Includes three sommelier selected 750ml bottles of wine
2019 Hudson White Study | Carneros, Napa Valley California WHITE
Ribolla Gialla, Tocai Friulano and Chardonnay. White study is inspired by the wines of Northeast Italy. It continues to evolve into an ever more sophisticated wine of earthy minerality balanced by hints of lemon zest and pear skins. The flavors are round, smooth and refreshing while maintaining their upright, angular nature. | Hudson Vineyards 2021 Idlewild Flora & Fauna 'The Bird' | North Coast California RED
Barbera, Dolcetto, Freisa, Nebbiolo, & Grignolino - a collection of varietals from the elevated hills of Mendocino County inspired by Italy's Piedmont. Intriguing, delicious, and haunting. Dark cherry, iron and sanguine notes, warm spices, dried herbs, violets, and graphite are highlights of the aromas. The mouth feel is a joyful interplay of brightness with chewy bass notes before the seriousness kicks in with a firm acid and tannin balance on the finish. | Idlewild Wines 2019 Matt Morris Wines Heritage | Napa Valley California RED
Charbono, Petite Sirah & Malbec. Its dense purple hue is followed by a powerful, ripe, opulent 2019 that gives up lots of black raspberry and blackberry fruits as well as sappy flowers, violets, chocolate, and exotic spices. These all carry to a full-bodied red that brings plenty of richness while staying lively, fresh, and even elegant. It's another gorgeous wine from Morris. It benefits from plenty of air, and I see no reason it shouldn't evolve gracefully for at least a decade. 125 cases produced. | 95 points, Jeb Dunnuck
