2023 Raen Sea Field Pinot Noir | Fort Ross-Seaview AVA Sonoma Coast California 750ml

From a rugged and remote pocket of Fort Ross-Seaview, this 4.8-acre monopole vineyard represents our most elegant terroir. The vines are rooted deeply in an ancient seabed that dates back more than 200 million years ago and soar high above the sea at over 1,000 feet in elevation. Mere miles from the ocean, this is our highest elevation and most coastal pinot noir bottling. Rose petals, raspberry, purple flowers, and wild strawberry all fill the bowl, followed by notes of freshly picked wild raspberries, sea moss, and white tea. On the palate, ripe red berries persist, followed by blood orange pith, chamomile flowers, and wet rock with a kiss of salinity, transporting us to the sea that sits just beyond our Sea Field vineyard.
