While many of our wines showcase a single vineyard, our Russian River Valley Pinot Noir is a carefully crafted blend, designed to highlight the best characteristics of the region. Four different clones grown in a variety of vineyards were individually fermented to produce the distinctive lots chosen for this wine. The nose on this vintage features an undercurrent of sweetness, with hints of root beer and cherry cola, along with floral and forest notes. The full-forward palate offers pine and sweet red fruit, with dried cocoa throughout the finish. | Merry EdwardsFocused aromas of concentrated raspberry, cherry gastrique, violets, and cola spice waft from the glass on the nose of this Pinot. The palate is richly structured, with grippy tannins, plenty of acid, and flavors of roasted Bing cherry, cinnamon, cedar, and shitake that linger all through the finish. | 92 points, Tom Capo for Wine Enthusiast...glowing ruby-red hue edged with a soft pink rim. On the nose, it delivers layered tones of dark plum, black raspberries, forest floor, and a hint of mountain sage, adding depth to its fruit-driven character. The palate flows with generous waves of ripe cherry and subtle dried herbs, accented by a savory undertone of spiced tea leaves. Rounded tannins frame the wine while maintaining freshness. | 93 points, Jeremy Young for International Wine Report
