All from a cooler site in the Santa Maria Valley, the 2020 Syrah Bien Nacido Vineyard from Morris has the classic, darker, marine-influenced aromatics of ripe darker berry fruits, peppery herbs, violets, damp earth, and iron that always seem to emerge from this terroir. With medium to full-bodied richness and depth on the palate, it's nicely balanced, has a bright, juicy mouthfeel, soft tannins, and a pure, silky, elegant style that's already drinking nicely.
