Dick and Ann Grace established Grace Family Vineyards in April 1976, planting their St. Helena vineyard with Cabernet Sauvignon cuttings from the legendary Bosche Vineyard in Rutherford. They sold the property in 2019, and it continues as a family-owned winery today. Dick and Ann still live at the estate, surrounded by the team and vines they established many years ago. The vineyard and winemaking records at Grace Family go back decades, but the team still talks through every task, every day.

The 2021Grace Estate is a wine of exceptional aromatic purity and poise. The nose opens with intense floral notes, cassis, fig, tobacco leaf and dried sage. The palate is broad and elegantly structured with layers of black cherry, cedar, dark chocolate, dried violets, and wild rose with fine grained tannins that frame an exceptionally long finish. 100% Cabernet Sauvignon. 210 cases produced. | Grace Family Vineyards

...this inky purple-hued beauty offers a rich, powerful nose of ripe black and blue fruits intermixed with spring flowers, violets, and chocolate, with an almost Graves-like scorched earth character. It's beautifully textured, full-bodied, has concentrated mid-palate, sweet tannins, and a great finish. This regal, balanced, incredibly impressive Cabernet Sauvignon needs 4-5 years in the cellar and will have 20-30 years of overal longevity.
