2021 B. True Cuvee Blanc Judge Family Vineyard & Frostwatch Vineyard | Sonoma Valley WHITE
This classic white Bordeaux style wine is a blend of 61% Sauvignon Blanc and 39% Semillon. On the nose, notes of grapefruit, vibrant pear and hints of peach and tropical fruits dominate. The seductive medley of aromas leads seamlessly into a complex palate rich in minerality, refreshing acidity, and fruit flavors dominated by white peach, guava, honeysuckle, key lime and hints of kumquat. The smooth and bright finish is long and rounded with layers of flavor revealing the time it spent aging in French oak barrels. | 93 points, Lisa Perrotti-Brown 2023 Luli Syrah Santa Lucia Highlands | Monterey County California RED
...offers a beautiful, Northern Rhone-like nose of juicy blackberries, bouquet garni, violets, and smoky, gamey, peppery nuances. Medium-bodied and broad on the palate, it has a layered mouthfeel and great finish. Competing with many Saint-Joseph and Crozes-Hermitage bottlings, it will shine for a solid decade. | 91 points, Jeb Dunnuck 2021 Aftermath Cabernet Sauvignon | Napa Valley California RED
...88% Cabernet Sauvignon and 12% Petit Verdot, all estate grown. Upon pouring, the wine exhibits a dark ruby color with a rim that leans slightly purple. The aromatics are delightful, with top notes of cassis, blackberry and violets, followed by hints of pencil shavings, black licorice and forest floor. The wine is medium weight, refined and elegant, tasting of cassis and blue fruits with a bright note of raspberry on the mid-palate. The nicely integrated tannins and balanced acidity show lively energy in its youth, and the long finish again displays the bright cassis revealed throughout.| Aftermath
