300 spectacular acres in the middle of the valley floor, the Beckstoffer Georges III Vineyard had its first grapes planted by Elizabeth Rutherford in 1895. Famed history flows through the veins of this historic vineyard from Georges De La Tour to Andre Tchelistcheff. In 1988 the Beckstoffer Georges III was replanted using new Cabernet Sauvignon Clones with tighter spacing and advanced trellising systems enhancing both quality and grape tonnage. The Myriad Beckstoffer Georges III blocks are positioned on slight uplifts and rolling knolls, offering better drainage, early ripening and delicious and integrated natural acidity.
