Precise, nuanced aromas of rose petal, baker's chocolate and gravel wind through pronounced red and dark fruit tones. Complex layers of dark cherry, black plum, cranberry and red currant translate seamlessly from nose to palate, with a rich, silky mouthfeel and long, elegant finish. The power of '18 is lifted by the inaugural inclusion of Cabernet Franc, and further chiseled and energized by Blueline's trademark natural acidity and minerality.
The estate's name is derived from the two "blueline streams" that deposited its soils over millions of years and form the DNA of the vineyard's unique personality.
Blueline Estate's gravelly Cortina soils provide excellent drainage, yielding smaller berries with greater concentration.
