The wine is comprised of the new, intensely flavored "Dijon clone" Chardonnay selections brought in from Burgundy and planted over two decades ago... The 2014 was a bit warmer than normal, which produced low disease pressure and bountiful yields. Some might say it was a blissfully boring year. Generous and full, the wines reflected the season, but through the prism of Oregon's style, with juicy acidity for balance. Fragrances of nutmeg, apple, honey and citrus illuminate the nose. The bright flavor profile on the palate stays true to its bouquet with additional hits of lemon tart, almond and seckel pear. The body finishes soft and clean. 382 cases produced. | Eric Hamacher
