It is sophisticated and even elegant for a substantial white wine. The nose is floral with some anise and faint mint. I detect even some hay, muskmelon and as I said in my scribbles "fall sunshine". The perfumey Muscat keeps it fun and playful and lively and fresh and youthful. The mouth is solidly woven. There is muscle, but not the grotesque kind, but rather the beautifully shaped and solid and broad envy producer. There is also some minerality and some chalk. The fresh acidity keeps things nicely balanced and the wine spunky. But generally it is creamy and lush and never becomes clumsy or awkward. A lovely treat. | Manfred Krankl for SQN...another brilliant white from this estate...this rich, full-bodied, incredibly elegant white offers up a smorgasbord of buttered citrus, orange blossom, flower oil, and honeyed minerality. Despite being a full-bodied, powerful wine, it stays fresh and graceful, with terrific freshness and acidity. It needs a decant if drinking any time soon and should keep for a decade or more.| 97 points, Jeb Dunnuck for jebdunnuck.com...bursts with expressive aromas of apricot preserve, yellow plums, dried flowers, orange rind and Acacia honey...fat and lavish, with considerable satiny texture, juicy acids and a sapid, even savory finish that I suspect reflects the Petite Manseng component. It's a rich and dramatic white that should drink well on release and could well be very interesting with time in the bottle... | 94 points, Wine Advocate
