Planted in 1944 just north of the City of Ten Thousand Buddhas, this vineyard is exceptional. Dry farmed without chemicals at the base of Enlightenment Mountain in gravelly volcanic soils, we are amazed at the concentration and intensity in the fruit from these vines.Aromatic and intense with classic Chenin Blanc aromas of wet stones, crushed flowers, minerals, beeswax and white pepper.
